I booked a lesson with a group a level above me which became very apparent to me after the first few runs so I spoke to my instructor Fabian who was more than helpful who got me switched in to the correct class with a lovely lady named Avegen ( hope I spelt her name correctly). Who really concentrated on my weaknesses and really helped me enjoy my few days there. I would highly recommend Esf to anyone of my friends or family going to France.

Once again we have entrusted our children (non French speaking) to the great moniteurs in La Clusaz. They have learned so much and also enjoyed the lessons very much!! Merci!!

The slope at Mini Bessonet (La Clusaz) was much too steep for me. After 90 minutes of my first lesson I was very uncomfortable and physically sore. It was made very clear before booking and on the lesson date that I was a beginner. A much shallower slope should have been chosen. After my first day I was very anxious about having another lesson so decided not to have the second lesson. Snow plough is very challenging for me as an older person (66). I needed a shallower gradient and to be trained with parallel skiing. Thierry was very patient and professional. The choice of slope was the issue.

We had two instructors, one for my daughter called Thierry. He was excellent, he was very patient, encouraging and she progressed. We did not have the same experience with the other instructor.

ESF teachers are the best of the best. My kids have had lessons for the last three years and always nervous before the first lesson then can’t wait for the next lesson!
