I was apprehensive about joining ski school as an adult but I was placed in a group with others my age and it was the best part of my trip! We had fun and Gaton was a great teacher and made the experience fun.

Our two sons aged 4 and 3 really enjoyed their ski school week, especially our eldest who had been last year with E S F and was promoted this year to Sifflote! Location is ideal and I hope next time some of the lessons can extend to other nursery runs eg Western Park.

Teachers were great with first time 4 year old.

We were lucky to have one best instructor Phillip David in our intermediate 1 class. Phillip was very professional and provided very constructive feedback and skiiing advices to everyone in the class, which made a huge difference. Phillip gave us huge confidence in trying out new terrain and skiing with fun.

1) On the 1st day the meet point instructions were not clear and several new starters/attendees were in the wrong place.
2) Again on the 1st day (using previous ESF classes I've attended as experience), ESF usually takes ALL new starters/attendees to a beginner area together to grade ski standards as a whole not just for the class. This way new starters can more easily move to another class and not when on the mountain.
3) Instructors must check attendees are able to reset bindings. There were teenagers in the class who kept falling and were unable to reset bindings on their own. Myself and another attendee kept stopping to help them as the instructor had skied too far away. I (as an attendee) was not responsible for or accountable to ensure other attendees could perform basic checks.

We would like to assure you that there are always staff members available at the meeting points to guide and help participants get to the right place at the beginning of each session. For beginners, lessons always start at the Western Park, which is specifically designed for new skiers to be evaluated and introduced in a safe and appropriate environment. Regarding your comments about equipment handling, our instructors do keep an eye on participants during class, especially beginners, to ensure safety and support. We will nevertheless remind our teams to pay particular attention to this aspect so that everyone feels comfortable and confident during the session.
