Please be assured that we give the utmost care and attention to these little ones. While our instructors are very experienced in managing separation tears—which can sometimes appear as indifference—this is never the case. In fact, within 20 minutes, the children are usually laughing and enjoying their time on the snow with their new friends. Should a child struggle to adapt, we always contact the parents to discuss the situation together. Our goal is to ensure that every child’s first experience on skis is positive, fun, and memorable. Group Size and Learning Progress: Last week, our groups were limited to 10 children per instructor, a ratio we consider optimal for both safety and individual attention. Our instructors are present from 9:00 AM when the children’s village opens until 4:45 PM, giving parents ample opportunity to discuss their child’s progress, learning objectives, or any questions they may have. We encourage you to take advantage of this time to speak with our team. Location and Drop-off: The Village des Enfants is strategically located at the heart of the resort, just a 3-minute walk from the Croisette. This central location is designed to be easily accessible for all families, regardless of where they are staying. The village’s unique infrastructure—including dedicated slopes and ski lifts, as well as facilities such as a ski room, restrooms, a relaxation area with a giant screen, and a dining room—ensures both children’s progress and parents’ comfort. Initial Assessment and Group Formation: Drop-off for “Première Étoile” groups takes place at the Village des Enfants because it allows us to assess each child’s level before forming groups. This is especially important as some children may be skiing for the first time or need a refresher. Our workshops, including slalom and parallel skiing, are designed to help children progress in a safe and structured environment. Pricing: We understand that the cost may seem higher compared to other ESF locations. However, the Village des Enfants is a unique facility in France, offering dedicated slopes, ski lifts, and a fully equipped building designed specifically for children and parents’ comfort.
