We were very satisfied with the ski lessons, the children made great progress. Agathe, my daughter’s instructor, and Nino, my son’s instructor, were both very friendly and truly caring. We highly recommend ESF!

In general we were happy with the course, particularly the all day child care option that incorporated skiing and non-skiing activities. This allowed my husband and I time to ski while knowing that that kids were well cared for and also working on their ski skills. There is room for improvement in terms of making the size of class groups smaller and fostering more friendliness / socialization among the kids that are going to be together for a week. My kids felt a little isolated even though they speak French. A bit more effort to help kids "find a friend" could go a long way in terms of building comfort / confidence. That said, the job of the instructors is not easy - kids from all over the world, new kids every week, etc. The range of options ESF offers is very good.

It would be helpful if lunch club pick up was more flexible. We wanted to collect at 1.30 some days but were not allowed.

My daughter had a wonderful time at your ski school. A huge thank you to her instructor for the care and attention he showed her.
My daughter doesn't speak English or French, and her instructor made an incredible effort to connect with her. He learned a few words in her language, and it meant the world to her.

The level attained by our children was sufficiently improved after the week. So the value for money is definitely there. The only issue we had was the duration of the lesson. It would be better if lessons lasted 20 minutes longer till 11hr45. Otherwise it's a rush for parents...

The lessons for kids were great and well organised. Some confusing aspects to drop off for first time but easy to navigate after. Adult lessons good. Teacher great but difficult to make progress, not sure why or if I underestimated my ability before starting. Either way I will be back!

This is the 4th year using Val Thorens ESF for our three children. Having used Meribel ESF 6 years prior. Absolutely brilliant teaching and always a fun time. You always feel the children will be safe with ESF as there are so many instructors on the mountains and all the staff are so attentive in the resort, including the lift operators.
Each year we consider skiing elsewhere but always return to the 3 valleys because the ESF ski school has been so great with the kids.
This year a special mention to Pat who run the 3 star class for my older two- they had such a great week with him and built strong confidence at the same time. Thank you for another great week!
